27.12.2007/ On Boxing day, a German selection lead by Milram's Erik Zabel won the Omnium of Aces of the 71st edition of the 'Großer Weihnachtspreis der Steher' in Dortmund's Westfalenhalle. During the track meeting Swiss rider Peter Jörg won the derny world cup.

With 80:77 points Erik Zabel, Leif Lampater, Guido Fulst, Robert Bartko and Erik Mohs outpaced a European selection, which was led by the World Champions Bruno Risi and Franco Marvulli. Belgian Six Days specialist Iljo Keisse, Czech rider Alois Kankovsky and Dutch track rider Robert Slippens completed the European selction. The race was exciting into the finale. Only the win of the Zabel at the derny race did make the Germans' victory perfect.

Swiss rider Peter Jörg defended his derny world cup. He rode the 40 kilometers in 38:43. Dutch rider Reinier Honig was second.
