Cyclingheroes: Ivan you won the UCI B World Championships... You are now qualified for the Olympics aren't you?

Ivan Stevic: Yes with my title I am qualified for the Olympic Games.

Cyclingheroes:  Are you satisfied with the past season?

Ivan Stevic: I was more then happy before I got injured at the Serbian National Road Championships. But the whole winter I felt very motivated to fight for an even better season in 2008.

Cyclingheroes: Is there a specific race you want to win during your career?

Ivan Stevic: Oh yes, definitely one of the one day classics in Europe.

Cyclingheroes: When did you start racing ?

Ivan Stevic: I started to race when I was 16 years old.

Cyclingheroes: Can you tell us something about cycling in Serbia?

Ivan Stevic: Serbia is a small country and the world of cycling is pretty small in Serbia. But we will have two riders at this years Olympic Games in Beijing.

Cyclingheroes:  Is there a big difference between racing in the US and racing in
Serbia?

Ivan Stevic: Of course its a big difference: US-Serbia, 300 million -8 million people.

Cyclingheroes: What's your role at the Toyota-Untited team?

Ivan Stevic: Well I have more then one I think. The first one is to win races myself, the second one is to help other riders to win races and of course to cook some good pasta for the boys!

Cyclingheroes: Cycling is in deep crisis in Europe, does that have an impact on
cycling in the US as well?

Ivan Stevic: The crisis in Europe makes cycling in the US growing faster and bigger!

Cyclingheroes: When will you start your season?

Ivan Stevic: My first race with the team will be the Redlands classic but I might do some local races before that.

Cyclingheroes: What are your main goals in the upcoming season?

Ivan Stevic: Olympics for sure but I want to be very good at the philly week and do something nice because last year I didnt have luck on my side
