Yesterday morning we were all glad that the final stage was standing before and that we soon would be released from the first race excertions. But that doesn't mean that we would only sit down in the bunch and would wait that the stage would come to an end.

Unfortunately for Stefan the race ended after a few kilometres because he catched a cold after yesterdays mountain stage. Thus we were only four of us that rode the final race kilometres on Argentine soil.

The race was relatively calm because the leading teams were controlling the escapees so it was clear to us that the stage would be decided with a bunch sprint.

The home stretch was 1.5 kilometres long, slightly declining and with tailwind. So we would reach a speed of 80 km/h during the sprint. The fastest legs of our team [Team Sparkasse, editor] were those of Rob who came in fifth behind José Haedo of CSC.

Then we were invited to a barbeque with the mayor yesterday, which was the official end of the Tour.

Today we all trained one more time, at which the enjoyment was on Philipp's side because he had to train alone in the last couple of days and he was glad to ride with the boys again.

We hope we could give you some good insights and are looking forward to the next time.

Cheers!

Tilo and Philipp
