25.03.2008/ The Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), organisers of Paris Roubaix (April 13), Flèche Wallonne (April 23) and Liège Bastogne Liège (April 27) have announced which teams they have selected to start at this years spring classics.

As announced earlier, ASO did not select Astana for the spring classics. All other Pro - Tour teams are selected by the French race organisation.

The selected Pro - Tour teams are: Gerolsteiner, Milram (both Germany), Quickstep, Silence - Lotto (both Belgium), CSC (Denmark), Caisse d'Epargne, Euskatel - Euskadi, Saunier Duval - Scott (all 3 Spain), High Road (USA), AG2R La Mondiale, Bouygues Telecom, Cofidis - Le Crédit par téléphone, Crédit Agricole, Française des Jeux (all 5 France), Lampre, Liquigas (both Italy) and Rabobank (Netherlands).

ASO also selected following Pro Continental teams: Landbouwkrediet-Tonissteiner, Topsport Vlaanderen (both Belgium), Agritubel (France), Slipstream Chipotle (USA), Barloworld (Great Britain), Tinkoff Credit Systems (Italy), Skil-Shimano (Netherlands) and Cycle Collstrop (Sweden).

The invitation for Cycle Collstrop will make team manager Jaques Hanegraaf a happy man. Hanegraaf managed the Unibet.com last year and although his team had a Pro - Tour license the team was not allowed to start at several races, incuding the races organised by ASO. Cycle-Collstrop captain Steffen Wesemann rode a strong Paris - Roubaix last year, finishing third in the Velodrome, after winner Stuart O' Grady (CSC) and Juan Antonio Flecha (Rabobank). Signing Wesemann will have had an impact on ASO's decision to invite the Swedish team to participate at the spring classics.
