The agreement became effective immediately, which means that team CSC will appear as Team CSC - Saxo Bank at next months Tour De France. Yesterday Team CSC - Saxo Bank presented the new jersey's (picture above) of the Danish Pro - Tour team. The team needed to change the jersey after Riis Cycling signed a contract with new sponsor Saxo Bank on Tuesday. There's no real design change, but of course it looks different with both the new sponsor, Saxo Bank, and a new CSC logo.

On Tuesday Riis Cycling and Saxo Bank announced their partnership for the coming three years. Saxo Bank is  the new co-sponsor of the team with immediate effect. Because of the new co-sponsor the Team has a new name from now on: Team CSC - Saxo Bank. The agreement runs to the end of this year, and on January 1st 2009 Saxo Bank becomes the sole main sponsor of the team that, from then on, will be known as Team Saxo Bank.

The 9 riders which will race next month's Tour de France for Team CSC - Saxo Bank are the first cyclists who will wear the new jersey in an official race.
