Silence - Lotto With Strong Team To Vuelta

19.08.2008/Cadel Evans and Yaroslav Popovych will lead the Belgium Silence - Lotto team at the Vuelta Espana. The runner-up of this years Tour de France will fight for victory against the winners of the last two editions of 'Le Grand Boucle': Alberto Contador (2007) and Carlos Sastre (2008).

Cadel Evans will be supported by Yaroslav Popovych, Dutch rider Maarten Tjallingii and six Belgium riders. Young talent Greg van Avermaet will race his first grand tour. The other Belgium riders are Pieter Jacobs, Roy Sentjens, Bart Dockx, Olivier Kaisen and Dominique Cornu.
