13.02.2007/ Jan Ullrich did not only have good weather during his training camp at Mallorca, the 1997 Tour de France winner also won a court case against German professor Franke.

Franke had appealed an injunction which prevented him from claiming that Ullrich had paid Doctor Eufemiano Fuentes €35,000 for doping products in one single year, but his appeal was rejected. Ullrichs lawyer, Dr. Ulrich Theune said: "The decision is in accordance with what we expected." Theune concluded with: "What we said in the first case is now confirmed."

Jan Ullrich also commented the courts decision: "I welcome the fact that the Hamburg courts put an end to the baseless allegations. Anybody who assert false facts about me has to face the consequences."

Meanwhile Jan Ullrich trained at Mallorca with former team mates Andreas Klöden and Matthias Kessler who are both riding for the Astana squad now. "Hard training is simply more fun with a group of guys who know each other well. We had good weather and worked hard for eight days of training," said the former Olympic Gold medal winner who returned home in Switzerland yesterday evening.
