Serhiy Gonchar will undergo follow up tests and a medical evaluation based on blood tests taken by independent medical personnel on behalf of the T-Mobile Team. These unannounced tests were taken at Liege and the Tour of Romandie.

The blood test results of the 36-year-old Cycling-Pro are within all UCI limits, and no doping violation has taken place. The follow up test procedure has been recommended by the Team’s Independent Medical Advisory Board in consultation with the UCI. Professor Dr. Walter Schmidt Of Universität Bayreuth, will supervise the follow up procedures.

Gonchar will not compete for a period of 30 days while this testing takes place and remains subject to the conditions of the Team Code of Conduct.
