01.09.2007/ David Zabriskie defended his US national time trial title today. Saul Raisin returned to racing and came in 33rd.

Dave Zabriskie (CSC) defended his national time trial title today. Zabriskie was 1.4 seconds faster than Danny Pate (Slipstream). Timothy Duggan (Slipstream) clocked  39.23 and was leading the race for a long time.

Saul Raisin (Credit Agricole) came back to start his first official pro race after his near-deadly crash at the Circuit de La Sarthe (France) in April of 2006. The Credit Agricole rider came in 33rd, 4' 33" behind Zabriskie .

Tomorrow the US Pro national championships continue with the road race.
