Thomas Kofler: The same here. We expect that they can persue their further developement better in our professional setting
and cash in on results. At last week’s first team meeting there definitely was a great harmony.
Cyclingheroes: Gerrit Glomser and Florian Stalder renewed their contract, which role do they have in the team?
Thomas Kofler: Certainly they have got some sort of leading position. Gerrit for the general classification for
stage races like the Tour de Suisse and the Tour of Austria and Florian has got everything in him to top his performance of
2007 and to achieve his first professional win.
Thomas Kofler: By continue our work like we do now. We will continue to grow our team step by step and than it will come
by itself. Ofcourse it also depends from the backers. We are working very hard on it.
Cyclingheroes: What are the main goals of the Volksbank team in the upcoming season?
Thomas Kofler: The Tour of Austria, Tour de Suisse, Tour of Germany and to be able to perform well at more Pro-Tour races.
Furthermore we want to bring riders to the Olympics and the worlds and ofcourse bring forward the developement of young riders.
