Liquigas will ride Cannondale
Liquigas has signed a two years' agreement with the US brand
In 2007-2008, Liquigas will ride Cannondale bicycles.
The agreement has been signed by Liquigas Sport president, Paolo Dal Lago, and Cannondale Europe B.V. president, Jeff McGuane.
"We are glad to welcome a prestigious brand which will offer the riders bicycles featuring the highest technology,
» said Dal Lago. «I must also thank Bianchi for these two years of hard work and great achievements."

of the team Roberto Amadio has also pointed out "the profitable cooperation we have had with Bianchi during the last two years.
We thank them all." Amadio went on: "Now, we are very confident in this new partnership confirming the growing internationalization
of the Liquigas Team. Technological innovation of Cannondale represents a guarantee as the strategic choice to sign a two
years' agreement does."

"We've been approached by a number of teams and we had the best chemistry with Liquigas. It's a true partnership built on
performance and winning at the highest level."
Marc Wauters farewell race
On Sunday October 15 there will be a farewell race in Zolder (Belgium) for Marc Wauters (Rabobank) who retired last month after he broke his collarbone before the world championships in salzburg.
Barloworld ready for Giro Lombardia
Team Barloworld's final race of the 2006 season will be the '94.7' race in South Africa on November 19 but
like all the major ProTour teams, Barloworld is getting ready for the 100th edition of the autumn ProTour classic the
Giro Lombardia.
We want to end the season well and not only because the Tour of Lombardy is a prestigious race and part of
the ProTour," Team manager Claudio Corti says.
"We know it's a tough race but we're sure some of our riders, including
Efimkin and Cardenas, can do well."
The eight riders for the Giro Lombardia are: Pedro Arreitunandia, Diego Caccia, Felix Cardenas, Alex Efimkin,
Mauro Facci, Tiaan Kannemeyer, James Perry and Hugo Sabido .
"It's a good team that can end a good season on a high," Corti
says. "We've been in the action and results in lots of races this year and we want to end the season with another good result
so that we're motivated to work hard through the winter ready for 2007. We want to do even better and hope to be part of the
ProTour."

Keise won European championships derny in Copenhagen
Iljo Keisse (Chocolade Jacques) has become the new European Champion derny
in the Danish Copenhagen yesterday. The Belgian rider was half a lap faster than Matthe Pronk (Unibet.com) in the final. The
German Stefan Löffler finished third. Matthe Pronk (Unibet.com) has the World hour record derny since 2004.
Three new riders for Jartazi squad
The Belgian Jartazi team signed three Belgian talents for the next season: Tom Criel, Kenny Van Braeckel, and Geoffrey Coupé. 23 year old Criel won
a stage in this years Giro della Valle d'Aosta, and was third in the overall of the Italian race. 22 year old Van Braeckel
was a stagiere thiy year with Davitamon-Lotto and 25 year old Coupe comes from the Flanders squad.
