Zabel and Risi take over lead Munich sixdays
Erik Zabel and Bruno Risi took over the lead at the Munich Sixdays after the second night. The Milram sprinter
and his Swiss partner Risi took over the lead from Franco Marvulli (Switzerland) and Iljo Keisse (Belgium), who are one
round behind Zabel and Risi. The Dutch pair Danny Stam/Peter Schep are on the third spot after the second noght with three
rounds behind.
Euskatel 2007 roster
Ivan Velasco is the last rider who signed for the Euskatel squad. Velasco
comes from Orbea. Samuel Sanchez, Haimar Zubeldia and Igor Anton stayed with the Basque squad. Iban Mayo left the team and
joined Saunier Duval.

Hayden Roulston (Health Net) won Tour of Southland
On the final day of the Tour of Southland (New Zealand) the riders had to
race 2 stages. The morning stage was 79 kilometers long and went from Anau to Mossburn. The stage was won by Sam Bewley, the
New Zealand rider won the sprint of a breakaway group with 5 riders. Australian rider Robert McLachlan came in second and
T-Mobile's new signing for the 2007 season, Greg Henderson from new Zealand came in third.
In the afternoon the riders started for the second stage on the final day,
a stage over 64 kilometers that brought the riders from Winton to Invercargill. British rider Kristian House won
the stage. House came over the finish alone with a small lead on Fraser McMaster and David Pell.
Hayden Roulston (Health Net) won the overall of this years Tour of Southland,
with Australian rider Robert McLachlan taking the second place and New Zealand's Jeremy Venell grabbed the third and
last spot on the podium. Earlier this year the 25 year old Roulston won the Tour of Wellington. Roulston started from
2003 until 2005 for Cofidis and Discovery Channel.
