team, that has defined the roster for 2007. Giuseppe Saronni’s Pro Tour team completed the roster signing the Tuscan
Massimiliano Mori and Giampaolo Caruso. These athletes joined the other new Lampre-Fondital’s riders Francesco

Usmate, where the athlete met Giuseppe Saronni and Emanuele Galbusera, blue-fucsia team’s president: the contract has
value for one year and Caruso agreed to give his DNA, respecting the Pro Tour teams agreement (Caruso was allegedly implicated
in the Puerto affair). Lampre-Fondital confirmed 20 riders that, added to the new riders, composed a roster of 25 athletes

Andre Greipel about his 2006 season
Andre Greipel talked witht-mobile-team.com about his first season with the T-Mobile squad. Greipel said:
"I got the season off to a promising start, when I placed second at the Etoile
des Bessèges in France in early February. I was a little surprised that I was able to get in the groove so early in the season,
given that I underwent shoulder surgery in September 2005 and had to struggle my way back through rehab and training."
Greipel continued by saying: "Let's sum up my Tour of California experience this way: A great team, pleasant
temperatures and a beautiful landscape! And with two stage wins by Olaf Pollack we didn't do too badly from a sporting perspective
either. Getting to know my new team mates was fun, and you could feel that the chemistry was right between us!"
About the spring classics Greipel said: "Back in Europe I was selected to do the spring classics like Paris-Roubaix,
Tour of Flanders and Ghent-Wevelgem. Though I already rode ’De Ronde’ in 2005 for Wiesenhof, the race is quite
a different proposition when you’re donning the magenta jersey. Those classics are extra tough, I worked a lot for the
team and surely learned enough to help my develoment as a rider. "
Greipel told about his first wins in Magenta: "At the Rheinland-Pfalz-Rundfahrt in April I notched up
two stage wins. I was surprised myself at how well things went for me in the climbs. "
The 24 year old rider didn't finish the Vueta, he abonded after stage 9 due to sickness, but he wants to
finish a grand tour in 2007: "Next year I have the Giro on my program – and I want to ride it to the end, no matter
what! Speaking of which: I am already looking forward to the 2007 season. We have a couple of new sprinters on board. I think
we’ll complement each other rather than step on each others’ toes. And, if required, I will certainly lead-out
colleagues like Gerald Ciolek or Bernhard Eisel."

Computer system of Chatenay-Malabry laboratory hacked
The computer system at the French national doping testing laboratory (LNDD) of Chatenay-Malabry near Paris was breached
by hackers. Laboratory director Jacques de Ceaurriz told French newsagency AFP: "An inquiry is under way. I'm not making any
comment because the incident is probably linked to affairs currently being handled by the laboratory." De Ceaurriz continued
by saying : "We have been aware of this for some time and in the past week our suspicions have been confirmed."
The test procedures of the French laboratory, which is accredited by the International Olympic Committee and the World
Anti-Doping Agency are being challenged by American cyclist Floyd Landis. The lab analyzed the samples which indicated that
Landis had elevated levels of testosterone in his system when he won stage 17 of this years Tour de France.
French police started an investigation after French Anti-Doping Agency president Pierre Bordry filed a complaint on Nov.
7. The state prosecuter of the Paris suburb of Nanterre has opened a preliminary inquiry into "intrusion into an information
system" and "theft of data."
Landis spokesman, Michael Henderson told US newsagency Associated Press: "Floyd is troubled to learn from these reports
about the continued security issues at the Chatenay-Malabry lab." Henderson continued by saying: "Regardless of content, the
actions being investigated are damaging to all parties involved, including Floyd." Henderson continued: "Unfortunately, this
is not the first time the security of documents in this lab has been called into question."
WADApresident Dick Pound told Associated Press: "Withdrawing documents and possibly altering them is an entirely separate
issue." Pound continued: "This does not reflect the lab's competence."
"This is an exercise done illegally with the express design to throw doubt on the quality of the lab ... and discredit
the lab with forged documents."
French daily sports L'Equipe reported Tuesday that a police source told them that the hacker was allegedly part of Landis'
team.
Henson told Associated Press that the allegations were part of a "character assassination" toward the former captain
of the Phonak team.
"Any claims attributing it to Floyd or his defense team are baseless, untrue, irresponsible," Henson said. "Floyd continues
to work on his case with his advisers and will prove his innocence."
According to L'Equipe one or more hackers accessed data and sent e-mails to the IOC, UCI and WADA with the aim
of discrediting the lab by calling into question its reliability. The hackers wrote the e-mails in poor French.

Jens Voigt: "There has been a change in attitude"
CPA spokesman and CSC rider Jens Voigt told the website of German tv channel ARD that since the case against
his former teammate Ivan Basso is closed by the Italian cycling federation that it's clear that Basso is allowed to return
into the peloton. Ivan Basso was signed by US based cycling team Discovery Channel last week. Voigt said: "I can definitely
see that it is not good for our image. To the public out there, it looks like nothing has changed."
The winner of the Tour of Germany added that 19 of the 20 Pro-Tour teams respected the agreements (Voigt
meant the agreement not to negotiate or sign a rider who is implicated in the Puerto affair) and that the other 19 teams maybe
should put Discovery Channel under pressure.
Voigt also explained that there was a change in mentality about doping among riders since the
news of the positive test of Floyd Landis came out: "There has been a change in attitude," the winner of the international
German championships, TUI CUP said. "It's not right that a small minority makes everyone's life difficult. Doping
isn't a misdemeanour. I believe riders have recognised that. We're all eager to ensure the sport has a good image."
Landis has repeatedly denied taking performance-enhancing drugs and will try to prove his innocence
at an American Arbitration Association hearing early next year.
