Antonio Colom won fourth stage at Mallorca
 
Antonio Colom gave Astana it's first season win. The 28 years old Spanish rider won the mountain stage after he, Luis León Sánchez (Caisse d'Epargne), Alberto Contador(Discovery Channel) and Vicenzo Nibal (Liquigas) attacked at the final climb. Nibal was dropped by the other 3 and Colom outsprinted the other riders. It was the second victory for a rider from the island during this years Vuelta Mallorca.
 
Tour Mediterraneen : Caisse d'Epargne won team time trail, Bennati with first season win for Lampre
 
This years Tour Mediterraneen began with a team time trial (Gruissan-Gruissan di 26,2 km). Caisse D’Epargne won the team time trail with a time of 32’39”.
After the team time trial yesterday morning, there was another stage in the afternoon. Lampre-Fondital obtained a great victory in the evening thanks to Daniele Bennati, who crossed the finish line in Agde in first position at the end of the final sprint. Great work by the whole team and a perfect sprint for Bennati. Todays stage will finish in Marseille.  Ivan Gutierrez (Caisse d'Epargne) leads the general classification.
