Letter 1
Imagine
Imagine you go to work
one day and you and eight colleagues are suspended from work by eighteen bosses from eighteen businesses because of a police
report linking you to possible wrong doing. No charges are brought in this report but
the report is splashed around the world by the media and wild speculations and allegations are thrown at you as well as another
fifty one colleagues.
You and your colleagues
have no union representation and no redress to these allegations. The governing
body of your profession passes the buck and the police report to your trade body that licence you for your job to make a decision
on whether there is a case to bring. Three weeks on you and a fellow colleague are fired publicly
by your employer. At the same time other businesses are folding, causing not only fellow
colleagues to lose their jobs but many support staff. Still no charges.
You are at the top of your
profession and have never had charges against you from your profession before and have generated over the years much exposure
and profit for many different businesses. These all seem to have turned their backs
on you. Your former employer settles with you but at the same time
with a member of the public start a private prosecution against you and your fellow colleague for fraud.
Whilst you are on honeymoon your house is raided. Still no charges.
Four months from being
suspended the judge in charge of the case declares you and your fellow colleagues will not be prosecuted under the investigation
and starts investigating the investigators. Most of your fellow colleagues do start
to get cleared by their trade bodies and start to work again. However, your case
remains open by your trade body and the fraud case continues. Your governing body and professional
colleagues just lets this go on. Still no charges.
Eight months from being
suspended with still no charges against you, you are forced to retire from the profession you love to get on with your life.
Imagine this happening
to you …… but probably not as there is a justice system out there for us.

Letter 2
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your public letter praising Jan Ullrich and your obvious
devotion to the well being in children's lives. I appreciate your efforts to infuse some positive into a negative thinking
world and an alternative reminder in homage while others put their efforts and energies into the tearing down of another true
sportsman. Respectfully and with thanks, Martin
