Levi Leipheimer (Discovery Channel) won the US national championships road race today. Leipheimer attacked on the final
climb, Paris Mountain. A chasing group with Leipheimer's teammate George Hincapie, Fred Rodriguez (Predictor-Lotto), Niel
Shirley (Jittery Joe's) and Danny Pate (Slipstream) tried to catch the number 3 of this years Tour de France but Leipheimer won
the race after his furious solo ride. Defending champion George Hincapie came in second.
