officially took Gonchar from the Giro roster because of a cold but today the team announced that the 36 years old rider is suspended
by the team.

Serhiy Gonchar will undergo follow up tests and a medical evaluation based on blood tests taken by independent medical personnel
on behalf of the T-Mobile Team. These unannounced tests were taken at Liege and the Tour
of Romandie. The blood test results of the 36-year-old Cycling-Pro
are within all UCI limits, and no doping violation has taken place. The follow up test
procedure has been recommended by the Team’s Independent Medical Advisory Board in consultation with the
UCI. Professor Dr. Walter Schmidt Of Universität Bayreuth, will supervise the follow up procedures.
Gonchar
will not compete for a period of 30 days while this testing takes place and remains subject to the conditions of the Team
Code of Conduct.
