„No Swiss court would have aknowledged this as valid documents.“ „Hence Jan
Ullrich is not being suspended by the Swiss federation right now.“ Yet trouble and suspension are not out of the question
as the UCI might take action against Ullrich. And still there is German Professor Franke who has filed suit against Ullrich.
Franke, a molecular Bioglogist and German anti-doping warrior, has reported that Ulllrich has „most probably has submitted
false affidavit“.According to German tabloid Bild it is not yet clear wether German courts concerned are acutally aware
of this. In his affidavit Ullrich stated: „The claim I had payed Dr. Fuentes € 35.000 for providing illegal substances
in one single year is actually wrong.“
Nevertherless German media reported today that the prosecuter of Bonn has opened a case against Jan Ullrich after Professor
Britta Bannenberg filed fraud charges against Jan Ullrich. Bannenberg stated that in her opinion Jan Ullrich had cheated on
the T-Mobile team by taking doping substances. State prosecuter Fred Apostel said in an reaction: "i don't want to comment
if the preliminary investigation will be followed by taking further measures".
