Sabido crashed but he will ride Pick'n Pay 94.7 anyway
Looking forward the tenth annual Pick'n Pay 94.7 Cycle Challenge in Johannesburg to be held on next Sunday,
Team Barloworld had to face another trouble due to the crash of Hugo Sabido during Wednesday training session. The Portuguese
rider will be probably able to participate in the Sunday race despite he is suffering for the injured left drift, the same
trouble faced by Giosuè Bonomi who suffered for a fractured wrist next Sunday in Pretoria. Rodney Green will replace Giosuè
Bonomi in the 94.7 Cycle Challenge.
Oscar Pereiro not in the 2007 Tour de France?
Tour de France runner-up of the general classification, Oscar Pereiro might not start at next years
Tour de France if the 2006 Tour is ultimately left without a winner. The overall winner, Floyd Landis was tested positive
after stage 17 of this years Tour de France and might lose his title.
"I will not go to the Tour de France if the organization leaves the first place vacant," Oscar Pereiro
said in a press conference in Marín on Tuesday. "In that case, I will take part in the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a España."
Pereiro thinks that he could be a victim of the Pro-Tour conflict between the UCI and Tour organizer
ASO.
Pereiro told Spanish website todociclismo.com: "I am still not the winner of the race due to a confrontation
between the UCI and the Tour organizers. The French have the intention to keep the problem going until the final day of the
allegations."

Zabel & Co. as coaches on the
cruise liner AIDA
On target for the Canaries: from 18th November, Erik Zabel and his team-mates
Björn Schröder and Enrico Poitschke will spend one week on the AIDA as cycling coaches.
In cooperation with the cycling
magazine TOUR, the cruise liner AIDA will be offering a cycling week with Erik Zabel. This will start at the end of November.
More then 30 participants will be able to attend a training programme with accompanying bike tours led by the Team MILRAM
rider. Aboard the ship, Erik Zabel will be supported by his team-mates Björn Schröder and Enrico Poitschke. In the average,
the group will ride about 60 kilometers ashore a day. Aditionally, there will be diverse technical trainings, spinning lessons
on the pool deck as well as relaxed rides through the towns on the Canaries.
Landis case: Lab admits to labeling error
As reported the server of the Châtenay-Malabry laboratory has been hacked and one day later the lab admitted that they labeled the Urin sample of Floyd Landis with the wrong identification number.
The director of the lab, Jaques de Ceaurrizz told French newsagency AFP: "It's an error as regards numbering, a typing error which has no significance whatsoever on the findings in the samples,"
said de Ceaurriz, who also stated that the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) was aware of the incident. "These little
mistakes happen. They are corrected, and noted."
"It wouldn't surprise me that Landis's lawyers use this information," De Ceaurriz
continued, "but the error does not wipe out the result of the analysis."
Floyd Landis and his attorney Howard Jacobs have raised the identification number issue in the past but the
lab didn't comment it until yesterday, a day after the news of the hacking incident came out. Landis always claimed
not to have taken testosterone, and has claimed consistently his innocence in the affair.
