Isaac Galvez's decease

Facing the tragic news of the death of the rider of our team Isaac Gálvez, which has occurred in the town of Ghent (Belgium), the managers of Abarca Sports, company which directs the cyclist team "Caisse D’Epargne- Illes Balears", sent a person of the group in Ghent, which holds us permanently informed of all the steps that it is advisable to carry out in order to allow the repatriation of Isaac his native village of Vilanova I Geltrú (Barcelona).

Our director Eusebio Unzué travels in this moment to Belgium in company of Isaac’s sister, Débora and other members of the family, which will join to Joan Llaneras (Isaac’s team-mate on the occasion on these “Six days event” on the track) which since the first moments put himself at the disposal of the Belgian authorities and in contact with the Spanish ones, which we thank for their help and collaboration in order to facilitate the steps that it is advisable to achieve on this sad occasion.

We make a point of thanking, in the name of Isaac’s family and of our team, all the people and organizations which help and support us.

All the members of the team and companions of Isaac, in these difficult moments for all, desire to present our more sincere condolences to Isaac’s family and in particular to his parents, his sister and his wife.
