Suray to Unibet.com

Gil Suray is riding with the Unibet.com cycling team next year. The 22 year-old Belgian signed a contract for two seasons with the new Swedish ProTour team.

“Suray is a very talented young rider”, said Jacques Hanegraaf, Director Sports of Unibet.com. “He’s still young, so Suray will play a similar role as the other youngsters of our team.”

This year, Gil Suray was the best in the Flèche Ardennaise. He also finished nicely third in the Tour of Flanders U23.

Simoni to the Olympics

According to solobike.it Gilberto Simoni want to take part at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. But not in the road race, Gibo wants to retire from road racing after the 2008 Giro and after that the 2006 Italian MTB marathon mountainbike champion wants to start at the Olympic MTB race.
