Jaime Lissavetzky stated:"I told them that it is not good to keep the cyclists implicated in legal limbo," and contined
by saying: "The cases have to be dealt with so they are either sanctioned or cleared".
None of the cyclists who are allegedly linked to Spanish doctor Fuentes has been charged by the judge investigating the
case nor by their national cycling federation.
According to the web edition of German weekly "Der Spiegel" it's possible that even Dr. Fuentes won't be charged by the
Spanish judge.
Meanwhile US based website bicirace.com reported today that Ivan Basso probebly won't be charged by the Italian cycling
federation and that it looks like Basso will race for a new team next year.
According to the web edition of Procycling Liquigas team manager Roberto Amadio denied that he has reached a deal with Ivan
Basso to join the Italian squad next season. Rumours continue to circulate linking the winner of this years Giro with
Liquigas and Discovery Channel. It's been reported that Liquigas is close to agree a deal.
